Our holistic approach to motor neurone disease palliative care

Motor neurone disease can advance rapidly, taking a heavy physical, psychological and, for some, a spiritual toll on the affected and their loved ones. We will develop a tailored care plan for your loved one, which we will design in consultation with them, you and your existing medical team.

Palliative care for end-stage motor neurone disease is an emotionally taxing process. But we will be with you every step of the way.

  • We offer medication and physical therapy to manage pain
  • We care for comorbidities, including depression, anxiety and dementia
  • We will facilitate specialised medical care if and when needed

Why choose Oxa Care

Palliative care requires as much compassion as it does medical expertise. How our residents respond to their diagnoses varies from day to day, and they sometimes surprise even themselves. As caregivers, we are intimately involved in their lives during these vulnerable moments and take that responsibility seriously. We have refined our approach and developed our capabilities over decades so we can guide our residents and their loved ones through their struggles. We know what it takes to do that.

Community is everything

Between our supportive staff and residents, there is always space to voice concerns and find comfort.

Tailored treatment

We tailor our therapies and pain management solutions to suit our residents’ day-to-day needs.
