Trust is the foundation of our palliative approach. We work hard to earn it from each of our residents. We’ve been ranked in Melbourne's top 1% of aged care facilities, with residents rating us for our warm and attentive service.
24-hour care
The reliance on support staff for basic tasks can leave an MND resident feeling vulnerable and anxious. Our staff are as warm and friendly as they are medically experienced.
Mental health care
The effects of rapidly advancing MDN will be difficult to process at first. Our mental healthcare services help palliative residents manage their anxieties in safety.

Why choose Oxa Care
Palliative care requires as much compassion as it does medical expertise. How our residents respond to their diagnoses varies from day to day, and they sometimes surprise even themselves. As caregivers, we are intimately involved in their lives during these vulnerable moments and take that responsibility seriously. We have refined our approach and developed our capabilities over decades so we can guide our residents and their loved ones through their struggles. We know what it takes to do that.
Community is everything
Between our supportive staff and residents, there is always space to voice concerns and find comfort.
Tailored treatment
We tailor our therapies and pain management solutions to suit our residents’ day-to-day needs.
How payment works
Payment should be the least of your concerns. You can divide your payment into an upfront lump sum and an ongoing daily fee. The slider below will help you to determine the most comfortable payment plan for your stay at our home. Remember that your $550,000 payment will be fully refunded to the resident’s estate at the end of their stay with us.
Consider us your partner and guide
We’ll be straightforward with you: facing an incurable, life-limiting and rapidly advancing condition like motor neurone disease will be a challenge all the way through to the end. There will always be a level of uncertainty and anxiety that we simply will not be able to relieve.
But in our experience, community really is everything. You can reach us 24/7 to discuss your loved one's condition, ask questions and adjust their well-being and end-of-life plans.
